Good Leaders for our Country

Many leaders of our country are not good leaders, they are just good in name being leaders but not in performance as good leader. When asking the question what is leadership, one tends to think of people who are successful. The real fact is, all successful people are not good leaders.

A leader is someone who has a vision and knows how they want to achieve that vision. When they talk about the future they do so with positive enthusiasm. When asking what leadership is, you are trying to determine if that person has the qualities to motivate others to do what is needed of them. A leader must be excited about the challenges which face them and they must anticipate each hurdle with excitement.

What makes a good leader and how can someone develop himself or herself into a good leader if they are not one to begin with? The answer is that there are many factors that contribute to good leadership. And, whether someone is naturally a good leader or not, anyone can become a good leader.

There are different factors of being a good leader:

One of those factors of good leadership is communication. Communication is one of the most key elements of leadership. Good communication skills need to be learned to effectively become a good leader. It's not only that during election you can be able to have communication with the people but the time you are in position as if you even do not know them.

Motivation is another variable that plays into good leadership. A good leader should have a good influence to the people he is leading. He should motivate his people by setting himself as a good example not bad. Always remember, as a good leader who sets good example results to a good follower.

Humbleness is another factor a leader of the nation should need. As a leader you can do whatever you want and demand to the people anything you want. To be a good leader you should know how to be humble, this can bring you and your people to success that both you and the people are aiming. Always remember, pride makes us stupid. Don't let it control you. Put it out and be humble.

A leader also needs to function in an orderly and purposeful manner in situations of uncertainty. People look to the leader during times of uncertainty and unfamiliarity and find reassurance and security when the leader portrays confidence and a positive demeanor.

These are but just simple factors but when applied leads to a good leadership. Always remember, the success and fall of every nation depends upon the leader.

Effective Form Of Leadership

Leadership is the art of motivating a group of people to act towards achieving a common goal. It is the process of social influence in which one person can enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task.

Thus  a leader is the inspiration and director of the action. He or she is the person in the group that possesses the combination of personality and skills that makes others want to follow his or her direction. To be effective, a leader certainly has to manage the resources at her disposal. But leadership also involves communicating, inspiring and supervising-just to name three more of the main skills a leader has to have to be successful and effective.

BEHAVIOUR OF AN EFFECTIVE LEADER

*An effective leader has the character and integrity in building up the trust necessary for leadership to be exercised over a period of time. Having a vision that is well communicated, building trust among colleagues, and taking effective action to realize your own leadership potential.

*Must influence the behaviour of other people toward group goals in a way that fully respects their freedom. Set goals and have a vision of the future. The vision must be owned throughout the organization. Effective leaders envision what they want and how to get it. They habitually picked priorities stemming from their basic values.

*Must show fair treatment to all people. Prejudice is the enemy of justice. Display empathy by being sensitive to the feelings, values, interests, and well-being of others.

*Must display confidence in all you do. By showing endurance in mental, physical, and spiritual stamina, you will inspire others to reach for new heights. Take charge when necessary.

*Must have the perseverance to accomplish the goal, regardless of the seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Display a confident calmness when under stress. Use sound judgment to make a good decision at the right time.

*Must make timely and appropriate changes in your thinking, plans, and methods. Show creativity by thinking of new and better goals, ideas, and solutions to problems. Be innovative.

Democratic form of government

Democratic country has a democratic form of government, a theory based on a fallacy assuming all men equal, counts unweighted votes and allow the people to move.Democratic form of government in which the people, either directly or indirectly, take part in governing. The term is also sometimes used as a measurement of how much influence a people has over their government, as in how much democracy exists.

It is a form of government under which the power to alter laws and structures of government lies, ultimately, with the citizenry. Under such a system, legislative decisions are made by the people themselves  or by the representatives who act through the consent of the people, as enforced by elections and the rule of law.

Democratic rights for the citizens:

*right to elect government through free and fair election

*freedom of speech/express political opinions

*the rule of law

*human rights/right to stay alive

*freedom of assembly/form political organizations

*freedom from discrimination

Democratic leadership

Under a democratic leadership, the people have a more participatory role in the decision making process. One person retains final say over all decisions but allows others to share insight and ideas. This is often highly effective form of leadership. People are more likely to excel in their positions and develop more skills when they feel empowered, and the people are empowered when they are involved in the decision making process.

Henceforth we can say that a democratic country is a country who practices the system of democracy, democratic form of government, democratic rights for the citizen, and has a democratic leadership.

The Different Politics Today

Looking clearly at todays situation, we can differentiate the situation of politics. It is but a dirty play between politicians who wants to gain more power, to be on top. Trying to destroy easch other just for their own interest. It is sad to say that many of the politicians today all over the world have gone into this kind of practice, not truthful of what they are for.

It is very embarassing that not only in governments but this different politics of today have been practiced by other groups, including corporate, academic, even in some religious institutions. We cannot reconcile that clean politics of yesterday to this dirty politcs of today. We heard and read news, about youth who practice this kind of politics just because of power and popularity.

Just yesterday, politics runs smoothly and politicians were true to what they are for the people and to serve the people. We saw their enthusiasm, courage and service that was enjoyed by those who are before us. They saw the true beauty of the government through politics and they feel the real effect of the yesterday politics.

As the world is becoming modernize our politrics is becoming dirty due to those modern politics who wants to gain and to grab more power of this modern world. It is but very simple to understand that as our world changes, our politics changes too.

If you are the one to ask, which one would you like? The dirty politics of today, or the smooth politics of yesterday. It's up for you to decide on which of this kind of politics you are going to choose. If you chose the politics of yesterday, I'll go with you. But if you chose the politics of today, you can now go with those politics who now enjoy the result of their dirty play.
